Jazz award winner in town Leamington
No one better embodies the dramatic transformation in the British Jazz scene over the past 20 years than Courtney Pine.
Having released a 13 albums in a career spanning over 24 years he is perhaps known best for his album Modern Day Jazz Stories and won a Mercury Music prize for album of the year in 1996, along with a MOBO award for best jazz act two years in a row.

Hide AdIn 2000 he was awarded an OBE, and last year received a CBE for services to music, and has had a long running radio show on BBC Radio Two, and has performed around the world.
He will appear in Leamington on Saturday March 12 and tickets cost £17 in advance.
