The Blackheart Orchestra, a British singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist duo consisting of long-term collaborators Chrissy Mostyn and Richard Pilkington, play at Lilbourne Village Hall on Friday April 29. The band blends musical styles, sidestepping boundaries and fusing pop, folk, jazz, classical and electronica to create their classically driven, emotion-drenched pop. Tickets cost £10. The Zephyr Band, Rugby: New members welcome. The Zephyr Wind Band has been playing in the community for the last 10 years. Neil Simon’s comedy The Odd Couple at Yelvertoft Village Hall, staged by Drama in Yelvertoft, on Friday April 29 and Saturday April 30. There will be a raffle and licensed bar available.
