Club hub can only be good for the town
The location has considerable advantages as a sports venue, being part of St Mary’s Lands and adjacent to its open space for training. It is also easily accessible on foot for anyone living near Hampton Road and there is ample car parking adjacent to the premises for those from further afield. Also, it is far enough away from nearby houses to provide a good music venue without causing disturbance to neighbouring properties, (see article on Alibi in same Courier edition), and could possibly become a “showcase” for local talent.
All in all, if the club can be revived as a “social hub” for the area if would be of great benefit to the locality and many others from the surrounding areas. - Peter Kerr, Bread and Meat Close, Warwick.
